The West Alloy Single Key System has been designed primarily for the leisure vehicle industry, but can be adapted for use in any sector where several locks within a vehicle need to be operated by a single key.

By utilising the circlip groove in the barrel lock, West Alloy has developed a system in the plastic moulded receiver that allows the barrel lock to be snapped in as a last assembly operation. West Alloy refers to these retainers as 'Crown Clips' which have proved to be every bit as strong as a traditional circlip.

The main advantage of this system is the ability to have several applications made by different suppliers whether they are doors or other security systems, operated by the same key. Once they have been fitted to the vehicle, a set of barrels can then be snapped into position ensuring that the same key will operate all the locks.
